We enjoy creative and interactive worship gatherings. We receive Communion each week and practice Open Communion. All are welcome at The Table. We love visitors and mutual conversation! Please feel free to wear casual attire.

Children enjoy experiential and imaginative classes during the worship hour each week. New Heritage is committed to welcoming and nurturing the next generation of disciples of Christ. Children are invited to participate in all areas of our community and gatherings. 

NHF Fall Series: GENERATIONS

We are excited to announce our upcoming Fall intergenerational series: GENERATIONS, launching Sunday, August 31!

Each week, we’ll explore one of 8 biblical stories that we think should be passed on to both current and future generations. We’ll be using both God’s Stories (the children’s book from The Bible for Normal People) and the adult version as our guides.

Here’s how it will work:
• Most Sundays, children will meet in their regular classes, while adults gather in the worship space but we’ll all be engaging with the same story in those spaces.

• We will provide takeout resources each week so that we can carry the conversation and reflection into our homes/communities.

• On September 21 and October 19, we’ll have Intergenerational Worship Gatherings, where kids and adults will worship, learn, and lead together in the same space. (We are hoping for more kids to lead on these days, so that we can encourage them).
This series isn’t just about storytelling, it’s about intentionally opening the door for our kids to lead, helping them discover their gifts, and making space to hand the keys of the church to the next generation. But it’s also for all of us, whether you have kids at home or not. This is a series about connections across generations, shared faith, and the beautiful diversity of our community. Whether you are older, younger, married, single, have kids, have no kids, we are better together!

Let’s come together this fall to celebrate, learn from, and pass on the stories that shape our faith.

We partner with Profound Foods and utilize their building on Sundays for our worship gatherings. This partnership gives us the opportunity to use more of our resources to help those who are in the greatest need in the community and other parts of the globe.
